Campaign created for the 2015–2016 school year. The purpose is to get more students engaged with the Housing and Residence Life department via various social media platforms. Campaign for the Housing staff during the summer of 2015. The overall logo and aesthetic was inspired by the retro Cabana look of vacation resorts. A brighter color palette was utilized to reflect the season.

The fall semester move-in is one of Mason Housing's largest organized annual events. The residence halls are divided into three main "neighborhoods": Rappahannock, Shenandoah, and Aquia. To help differentiate the neighborhoods and guide students to their appropriate residence halls, bright colors of green, orange, and blue were used, respectively. These colors were applied to large blade banners and placed in their appropriate neighborhood locations.

Student volunteers helping residents move into their rooms were known as the Move Crew. They wore bright green shirts so they could easily identified, of which featured the Move Crew logo on the front. The logo's arrow/lightning bolt design was inspired by the general 'back and forth' gesture involved with moving in.

A small, brochure-styled guide reaffirming the branding standards of the Housing and Residence Life department on George Mason University's campus. This was created to help staff members appropriately represent the department, and in extension the university itself, when creating promotional material.
 

An annual event held at the end of every spring semester celebrating the closing of the school year. The theme for the 2014-2015 school year was 'Color Blast', inspired by the Hindu Holi spring festival of colors.
 

A rather straightforward poster promoting the revised operating hours for George Mason University's various dining halls. I wanted the overall style to reflect vintage dining menus.

Cram Jam is an event held near the end of every fall and spring semester to help prepare students for final exams. The main food served at this event is pancakes, which is reflected in the circular shape of the posters. For the 2014-2015 school year, the themes were inspired by the Harry Potter series and oceanic/beach aesthetic, respectively.

This was a festive poster created for the fall season close to Halloween. I wanted to evoke an eery yet enticing feeling; something that the viewer would quickly be attracted to. The main green type and pumpkin illustration were originally hand-drawn, then scanned in to be digitized.

Poster designed for various block parties throughout the day on GMU's campus. I was drawn to the word "block", which led me to create and utilize type that was rigid but stll visually appealing. The colors reflect the university's official green and gold branding.

For the following year the overall geometric theme was retained, but the poster's orientation was made more horizontal and a wider array of bold colors were used.

Logo redesign for the Virgina Association of College and University Housing Officers. The blue and yellow colors were inspired by the Virginia state flag, while the housing aspect was reflected in the acronym's letter 'H'. Also designed were four seasonal themed cover photos to used on social media platforms.

Moving out campaign for the Spring 2014 semester. The flyers and bike door hangers were distributed all over the residence halls to inform students living on campus about moving out at the end of the semester. I decided to come up with a clean and somewhat modular design so it would be more efficient to print many copies without using too much color.

A second move out campaign encouraging students to donate any of their leftover or unwanted food, clothing, and appliances for recycling. Posters and table tents were placed in many parts of campus beyond the residence halls. Bright and warm colors were used to catch students' attention and reflect the warmth of springtime.

This series of posters are part of a promotional campaign for multiple residence events. Since there is an overarching traveling/passport theme I wanted to recreate the vintage but stylish travel aesthetic found on various postcards and posters.

Rock the Block was an on-campus event featuring barbecue food and blues music. The overall aesthetic was inspired by the House of Blues entertainment chain.

This was made for a screening of the movie Pitch Perfect at the school's aquatic and fitness center. The challenge was trying to bring the two previously unrelated elements together. What I came up with was a seal approach, taking advantage of the saturated pool background to push the text forward. The outer rings of the seal are reminiscent of a rippling effect in water.

The following year the same event was held; this time the sequel Pitch Perfect 2 was shown. Essentially the same design was used, but updated with a purple and yellow color scheme to reflect the same colors used in some of the movie's promotional material.

This poster was for a Presidents' Day event held at one of the dorm neighborhoods. I wanted to recreate the bold, eye-catching characteristics found in presidential campaign posters.

T-shirt design for George Mason University's Living Learning Community (LLC) student program. The front features the saying "You Only Live Once" while the back contains an arrangement of concentrations within the program.
